Application Fee

  • Fee Payable: ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only)
  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
  • Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards.

SSC CPO 2026 Age Limit (As on 01/08/2026)
  • Age Limit for the posts is 20 to 25 years as of 01/08/2026 (i.e., candidates born not earlier than 02/08/2001 and not later than 01/08/2006 are eligible).
  • Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
    • SC / ST: 5 Years
    • OBC: 3 Years
    • Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 Years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
    • Central Government Civilian Employees / Departmental candidates as per extant government instructions.

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Special Note for Delhi Police Male: Must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PET/PST). Candidates without a valid LMV driving license are not eligible for Delhi Police.
Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police - Female[cite: 1] Level-6 (₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400)
Sub-Inspector (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs - BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB)[cite: 1] Level-6 (₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400)
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Driving license is not mandatory for CAPF posts.

SSC CPO 2026 Examination & Selection Process

The recruitment process will comprise the following stages:

  • Stage-I: Paper-I (Objective Multiple Choice Questions covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension).
  • Stage-II: Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET).
  • Stage-III: Paper-II (English Language & Comprehension).
  • Stage-IV: Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
