Application Fee & Payment Mode

  • Fee Payable for General / OBC Candidates: ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only)
  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are fully exempted from fee payment.
  • Payment Mode: Online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit/Debit cards.

  • Standard Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as of 01/08/2026 (Candidates must be born between 02/08/1999 and 01/08/2008).
  • Category-wise Upper Age Limit Relaxations:
    • SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years
    • OBC Candidates: 3 Years
    • PwBD (Unreserved): 10 Years | PwBD (OBC): 13 Years | PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years
    • Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 Years after service deduction
    • Central Government Civilian Employees & other categories as per official government guidelines.

SSC CHSL 2026 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection methodology for SSC CHSL recruitment consists of the following stages:

  • Tier-I Examination: Computer Based Objective Test covering English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.
  • Tier-II Examination: Advanced Computer Based Test including mathematical abilities, reasoning, English language proficiency, general awareness, computer knowledge, and skill/typing tests.
