  • Degree Requirement: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% marks (Relaxed to pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD against reserved posts).
  • GATE Requirement: Valid GATE 2026 score in Electrical Engineering (EE).
Asstt. Manager (T) Trainee – Non-Electrical 05
  • Degree Requirement: Degree in ECE, IT, or CSE or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.
  • GATE Requirement: Valid GATE 2026 score in EC and/or CS, as applicable.
Asstt. Manager (Civil) Trainee 05
  • Degree Requirement: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.
  • GATE Requirement: Valid GATE 2026 score in Civil Engineering (CE).
  • Desirable: Two years of related experience.
Salary details: Candidates will be appointed as Trainees in Pay Level 9 (₹53,100 – ₹1,67,800) for a 1-year training period (3 months academic, 9 months field). After successful completion, they will be absorbed in Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500).

DTL Selection Process & Service Bond

The recruitment process for DTL AMT is direct and straightforward:

  • Selection Basis: Selection is based solely on the normalized marks obtained in GATE 2026 (out of 100) in the relevant engineering paper.
  • No Written Test/Interview: There will be no separate written examination or interview.
  • Document Verification & Medical: Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification and a mandatory medical examination before joining.
  • Service Agreement Bond: Selected candidates must execute a service bond to serve for a minimum of 3 years after training. Bond amount: ₹5,00,000/- for General/OBC-NCL/EWS and ₹2,50,000/- for SC/ST/PwBD.
  • Application Submission: After submitting the online application, a printed copy along with the Demand Draft, GATE scorecard, and required documents must be sent to DTL via Speed Post.
